I, Chief William J. McCamant IV, welcome you on behalf of the members of the Strasburg Police Department to our website. We are a community of approximately 3,000 residents, located in northern Tuscarawas County.

We are a local law enforcement agency currently staffed with 4 full-time commissioned officers supported by part-time officers and Auxiliary Unit.

The Department's main function is to protect and serve our citizens and the many visitors to our village. Our officers strive to do whatever they can to improve the quality of life by addressing citizens' concerns on a wide range of issues. In order to be successful in making Strasburg a safe, pleasant place to live, work and visit, we openly welcome the involvement of the community. Without that we could not be a successful department and community.
